Hi, I’m Tess

I’m a Colombian/Briton from the beautiful Derbyshire and I love that I’m able to be a part of the happiest day in two peoples' lives...for my job! To witness and absorb the happiness in the atmosphere on a wedding day is the best feeling, always loved a good wedding.

I have a background in film making and psychology, and feel it’s important to capture the story of a wedding day. I also love working with couples who may be a bit camera shy, trust me, I get it! It’s not a normal thing to have a camera on you all day, unless you’re an influencer or something, but for the rest of us it’s strange. So I like to ensure my couples feel at ease with me, a stranger, being part of their special day. Rest assured that you, nor your guests, will be told to pose too much or be manoeuvred into awkward positions, so everyone can relax into your day. I will look for the smiles, not arrange them.

Just love it when I'm there for a funny or moving moment which may have otherwise been missed, and when it's captured, it feels like magic and there's always the hope that my couples will love it as much as I do.

I am in love with photography of any kind, be it countryside scenes, portraits, details of ANYTHING or capturing the natural emotions at a stunning wedding.

Even motorsport photography can be amazing (not at all a plug for my fiancé...but seriously, check him out, he's awesome (danbathie.com). I work with him sometimes video editing, shoot coordinating and assisting for car manufacturer photoshoots. I also work with Spacesuit Media to capture motorsport hospitality and atmosphere at automotive events around the world.

Things I love: my dog Hank, working with Dan, Plants (inside and out), Formula One, good curl hair days, walking, sharks..to look at not to swim with, wine, churros, jet-washing videos, holidays, autumn light and lie ins.
